Call For Papers 2025 Conference Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

2025 MARATSA Conference at The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center, Rehoboth Beach, De.  May 7 to May 9, 2025

    

We invite you to submit topics for presentations for the MARATSA Conference:

Preventing Sexual Abuse Learning Together/Working Together


MARATSA is a multi-disciplinary regional organization. Through research, education, and shared learning MARATSA promotes evidence-based practice, public policy, and community strategies that lead to the establishment of standards for assessment, evaluation, treatment, management, and supervision of individuals who have sexually abused or are at risk to abuse. 


The 15th Annual MARATSA conference will address issues that arise in working with adolescent and adult sexual abusers. This conference is developed for social workers, psychologists, probation officers, mental health providers, researchers, polygraphers, victim advocates as well as court and correction staff members. 


Deadline for submission is January 31, 2025 


Please include the following: 

  • Title of Presentation 
  • One-page abstract 
  • Type of presentation (1st and 2nd choice) Poster, 1.5-hour Workshop, 3 hour Seminar, or full day for Wednesday or Thursday 
  • Level of knowledge (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced) 
  • Focus (Research, Criminal Justice, Treatment, Assessment, Prevention) 
  • For each presenter: Name, degree, title, affiliation, address, phone, fax, email, current curriculum vitae and one-paragraph bio 
  • Three Learning Objectives for the presentation 
  • Audio/Visual Needs 
  • Attach submission materials and email to Kelly Noonan at  kbarto0819@gmail.com

We Appreciate Your Submission! 

  • Presenters for workshops and seminars will have their registration fee waived. 
  • First poster presenter will receive a 25% discount.
